Te Whānau Tokotokorangi Trust

Mā te mōhio ka ora, mā ora ka mōhio

Te Whanau Tokotokorangi Trust is a Kaupapa Māori organisation who was set up in 1992 but been providing services to Rotorua and surrounding communities since 1996.

The Trust offers 24-hour residential care for people with disabilities.    We currently have ten (10) residential homes nestled in the community all with their beautiful names that bring life to them.

We have three (3) learning facilities where our day services operate.

Alongside these services we also offer a disability information/advocacy service to for individuals/families living at home in the community to help navigate through the myriad of questions and/or enquiries.

Although the Trust’s values are based upon Kaupapa Māori the organisation is not exclusively for Māori, other ethnicities who are interested in the services we offer are more than welcome to enquire.

We have been operating since 1992 and have spent years fighting for the rights of Maori to be recognised and the rights of people with disabilities to have a fairer place in the communities.   We have the experience, skills and knowledge to do more in the community, for our people.
