As the summer breeze drifts away and the cool autumn air comes through to change the color of the trees we follow suite with a fresh breeze of Kaimahi.
Te Whanau Tokotokorangi Trust would like to welcome all the new kaimahi into our whanau and thank all our past and present for the mahi you all do, you are all very much appreciated.
New Year Ventures
The majority of our whamere returned home to their whanau over the festive season at some time, they have all returned home fresh re-energised and ready to conquer 2017.
Some of our whamere have been accepted into different courses external to the Trust and although they are feeling challenged at times they continue to get up and tackle every day with a positive “can do” attitude.
Currently some of our whamere and staff are on an 11 day road trip learning and discovering the story of Ngati Kahungungu. The whanau are visiting Napier, Gisborne and Opotiki and on return we will be sure to post some photos of their adventure and findings.
While the men are away enjoying their trip we will be renovating Te Awhi, giving it a fresh look and feel for when they return home.
We are currently training a new group of Kaimahi to come on board at Te Whanau Tokotokorangi Trust, we wish them all the best on their new journey with us as they learn about our Whamere and discover new things about themselves
Please have a look around our website to see what we are about. Have a look at our photos of our Whamere and Kaimahi past and present. These will also be updated regularly to show what activities our Whamere and Kaimahi are involved in.
If you are seeking employment please keep an eye on our website as we will post all vacancies on here as well.
Te Whanau Tokotokorangi Trust would like to take the time to acknowledge and thank our staff for the hassle free festive season. You have carried out a wonderful job with little fuss which has made the on-call system easy. Keep up the awesome mahi.
